Greeting

Hello and welcome to the blog of one crazy mom!

Here I want to share about my life, my struggles and successes, the brighter pieces of my life's mosaics and the darker ones, too. They all are a part of the masterpiece God is working on, it just takes time to see a bigger picture.

"The Whole Earth Is Full Of His Glory!" (Isaiah 6:3)

Today we enjoyed a truly one-of-a-kind experience! We flew over the island of Kauai on one of the Sunshine Helicopters. Just amazing!.. The skies, the mountains, the waterfalls, the ocean, - all were shouting of the glory of  Creator God!..

"By the word of the LORD were the heavens made;
and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.
He gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap:
he layeth up the depth in storehouses.
Let all the earth fear the LORD:
let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.
For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast."

Let All The Earth Fear The Lord!..

My husband Illya and I are blessed to be able to have a vacation on Hawaii. For us, it is akin to a miracle. Being married for 10 years, we haven't gone to any place special until now. There were good reasons for this, but this year we decided to set time and money aside to do something just for the two of us. Then, just a week before our trip, Illya hurt his back to the point of being immobile. Many friends have prayed for Illya's back, including his chiropractor, Dr. Charles Adamo. The final decision was made on Friday, and here we are, enjoying the magnificent beauty of God's amazing creation!

Sunday was our first full day in Kauai, and we had a privilege to worship at the Calvary Chapel Northshore. The message was from Ephesians, chapters 1 through 3. I will definitely share my thoughts on that message later, as it has touched my heart in so many ways. However, the pastor urged the church to make sure they read Psalm 33, which was a sort of "homework" from the previous Sunday. So Illya and I read Psalm 33 this morning and then had a wonderful time of prayer and contemplation. Am I glad we were once again reminded though God's Word about the mighty works on our Creator God! Being here at one of the most beautiful places on earth, we are in awe of God's power, His might, the breath-taking beauty of His creation, and His indescribable mercy and goodness!.. I will post many photos of the amazing views that make us bow before our awesome God in awe and admiration. But today I just want to share the Psalm that stirs our hearts to worship.

Psalm 33

Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright. Praise the LORD with harp: sing unto him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings. Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise.

For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth. He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the LORD.

By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth. He gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap: he layeth up the depth in storehouses. Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him. For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast.

The LORD bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect. The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations. Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance. The LORD looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men. From the place of his habitation he looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth. He fashioneth their hearts alike; he considereth all their works.

There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength. A horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength. Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy; To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.

Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he is our help and our shield. For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name. Let thy mercy, O LORD, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.
